ECO Index B Intro
If you've had enough of ECO Index A you're in luck.
ECO Index B is waiting for your visit. It starts out with a King's Pawn Opening with an irregular reply.
It follows up with the Scandinavian Defense, Alekhine's Defense, Robatsch (Modern) Defense and the Pirc Defense. That brings you as far as the Caro-Kann Defense. Then you come to the main course - the Sicilian Defense.
This monster has 79 classified openings in Volume B of the ECO Index. If you become a Sicilian expert you will have a wonderful weapon when playing as Black. White can end up in serious trouble if he loses his way in the deadly maze that is the Sicilian Defense.
