Also Move the Fewest Pawns
by: Roberto Martinez

Great tips! Specially for strong defensive play. I would only add that it is generally a good idea to move as few pawns as possible in the opening. It is better to develop your pieces before moving a lot of pawns. Also think before moving a piece, otherwise you might end up blocking the development of another piece.

Great Tips
by: Rob Warren

Good writeup, Khitam. I have been playing for a while now but still consider myself a novice considering the sheer magnitude of the variations in available strategies through each and every move. Any beginning chess player should find these opening strategies helpful, I know I learned a few new things today.

Knights and Rooks to the End
by: Ramamoorthy

To win a game it is very important to think twice or thrice before moving. We should not give a chance to the opponent to defeat us. The knights and the rook are very important. We should have knights and rooks surviving to the endgame. They will put us in a position to win the game.
